NBA Conference Finals Are Hitting All the Marks

nbaIf you’re an NBA fan, it doesn’t get a whole lot better than this year. The Division finals are just wrapping up, but the 2016 NBA playoffs have already thrown fans a few unexpected curves – and some of the best b-ball seen on the court in years. As the brackets fill up for the finals, we’re seeing lots of action on NBA Conference Finals tickets, both on the East Coast and the West Coast – and it’s easy to understand why. Just take a look at what we’ve seen so far.

Golden Warriors Tickets Western Conference Finals Tickets – We Got Them!

Warriors fans have known since February that their boys had a playoff berth, and since March, when the Clippers dropped a game to the Cleveland Cavaliers, that they had the Pacific Division title. That makes back-to-back division wins for the Golden State Warriors, a feat they haven’t pulled off since the 1974-75 season. That wasn’t enough for Golden State, though – they had their eyes set on breaking a long-standing record. They ticked that goal in April, when Steph Curry led the team to a crushing defeat over Memphis and a record-breaking 73rd regular season win – a record that has stood since Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls knocked off 72 wins in 1995-96. To make it even sweeter, Curry kicked in eight three-pointers to hit 400 for the season, and 41 points to rack up a 30-point season average, breaking even more records. And best of all? It wasn’t supposed to go down this way – all through the winning season, popular sentiment had the Warriors going down in ignoble flames at some point. Instead, they spread their wings and took to the sky, leaving all the other teams in their dust.

OKC Thunder Western Conference Finals Tickets – Got Them, too!

The Warriors aren’t the only Western Conference team to upset expectations, either. Just a week ago, if you’d asked any sports pundit in the know who’d be facing the Warriors in the Conference finals, they wouldn’t have even had to think. It was a given that the San Antonio Spurs were a lock – until they weren’t. In one glorious, hard-slamming, rock-solid game, Oklahoma City brought the Thunder hammer down and took the division championship right out of the Spurs hot little hands – in game 6, yet. The matchup between the Warriors and the Thunder is already being touted as possibly the strongest conference finals series in decades – since 1984, if you believe one of the Internet’s best sports statisticians, and why wouldn’t you? Add to that the fact that OKC vs. Golden State games have been some of the most exciting games to watch during the season, and you know that people are looking for Western Conference NBA tickets.

Given all that awesomeness – and did we forget to mention Steph Curry’s MVP award, the first-in-history unanimous decision? – in the West, the road to the Eastern Conference Finals may look a little lackluster, but it’s not for lack of trying. That was made more clear than ever when the Miami Heat forced a 7th game (to take place Sunday night in Toronto) against the Raptors. The Heat made headlines and garnered all sorts of jokes about being small – but they turned in a big performance. Odds may be with the Raptors to advance, but after their Friday the 13th win, no one is counting the Heat out yet.

Whether the Heat advance or not, the Eastern Conference title games are also guaranteed to be superb, as both teams have definitely held their own against the Cavs in regular season play.
